V2X Wins $500M Air Force C-12 Huron Sustainment Contract

The U.S. Air Forces has awarded V2X Inc. (NYSE: VVX) a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $500 million ceiling to provide global Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the C-12 Huron military-aircraft fleet through June 30, 2031.

Announced by the Department of Defense on June 26, 2026, and confirmed in a company press release on August 4, 2026, the agreement extends V2X’s existing sustainment role for the twin-engine turboprop fleet. The C-12 Huron provides time-sensitive passenger and cargo transportation, medical evacuation, and flight test support for various defense organizations and Foreign Military Sales partners.

Contract Details and Global Scope

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center managed the competitive acquisition process, which received three offers. At the time of the award, the military obligated $237,125 in fiscal 2026 operation and maintenance funds, $7,250 in research, development, test, and evaluation funds, and $5,659 in Foreign Military Sales funds.

Work under the contract will be executed by Vertex Aerospace LLC, a V2X company, across a wide network of domestic and international installations. U.S. locations include Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Edwards Air Force Base, Joint Base Andrews, and Holloman Air Force Base. International support spans 16 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Kenya, Norway, and Saudi Arabia.

V2X reported that it has consistently exceeded a 95 percent mission capability rate on its current C-12 program. Vinny Caputo, Senior Vice President of Aerospace Systems at V2X, stated that the award reflects the military’s confidence in the company’s ability to deliver sustained aircraft readiness.

“Our customers depend on these aircraft to execute missions around the world, often on short notice and in demanding environments,” Caputo said.

The contract confirmation follows the August 3, 2026, release of V2X’s second-quarter financial-results. The defense contractor reported $1.26 billion in revenue for the quarter, representing a 17 percent year-over-year increase.
